Samantha started teaching lessons in Spokane in late 2007, upon moving from Florida.
She taught WSI swimming lessons using techniques she was trained on and techniques she picked up over the years from teaching and lifeguarding at multiple locations throughout high school and college.
In the beginning, she taught lessons to neighbors and made casual conversation with strangers.
By the Spring of 2008 she made a full commitment to teaching swimming due to the high demand of lessons via word of mouth.
